Under World War II the National Socialist German Workers Party, also called Nazi Party, became a mass movement and it ruled Germany through totalitarian means from 1933 to 1945. The group promoted the German pride and anti-Semitism. A dictator named Adolf Hitler joined the party from its start, and led the Nazi party. He was the cause of the murder of some 6 million European Jews during the Nazis reign.
